This photographic postcard depicts the Edward F. Worst Craft House on the campus of the Penland School of Handicrafts (now Penland School of Crafts). The building was named after the school's first weaving instructor, Edward F. Worst. The structure was erected during a community log-raising held May 1935. The photograph for this postcard was taken by Bayard Wootten ca. 1936 - 1940.
