Description

Fish pools were near the District Office in 1932 or 1933. Fry was bought from Walhalla, reared and released in the streams in the District. It was a small operation, and we did not ship any. This program ended in 1939 or 1940, when the local fish hatchery was built. Written by Mr. John Eller, Oct. 15, 1965.
