Southern Highland Handicraft Guild
Description
Shortly after its formation in 1930, the Southern Highland Handicraft Guild set up a Membership and Standards Committee to ensure that members met certain criteria, especially in terms of the quality of their craft work. Clementine Douglas, Frances Goodrich, and Lucy Morgan formed this committee and developed standards for membership in the Guild. This document outlines the Guild's objectives and describes the membership categories and procedures for applying. It was probably used as a hand-out for interested crafts people.
