Description

This signed photograph of a man carving a duck was taken by Doris Ulmann. There are two completed ducks/geese in the background. Although the carver is unidentified, the type of carving and a note on the back of the photograph indicates that this was probably taken at the John C. Campbell Folk School in the Brasstown, N.C. when Ulmann was there in 1933 or 1934.
