This is the original constitution for the Southern Mountain Handicraft Guild drafted in 1929 for approval at the organization's first official meeting in March 1930. The constitution covers various aspects such as the organization's name, objectives, membership, meetings, and officers. The Southern Mountain Handicraft Guild was officially founded at its first meeting in March 1930 where the constitution and by-laws were accepted and officers elected. The organization's name was changed to the Southern Highland Handicraft Guild in 1933 and again in the 1990s to the Southern Highland Craft Guild.
