Description
This photograph shows Oscar Cantrell working at the forge at the John C. Campbell Folk School. Cantrell was one of the first students at the Folk School and stayed on to work at the school as the first blacksmith and "handyman" in 1928. He stayed active in the school until his death in the early 1990s.
