Description
This photograph of Ed Teems with a draw knife and a piece of wood was taken by Doris Ulmann in 1933 or 1934, during the time she spent in the area around Brasstown, North Carolina. Teems was a fiddler and the Teems family was one of several families who donated time, money, and labor to build the John C. Campbell Folk School in the mid-1920s.
