Description
This letter was written by Clementine Douglas to Allen Eaton on September 19, 1942. She regrets that he will not be at the Southern Highland Handicraft Guild membership meeting, but gives him a preview of events and asks for his comments on several items. Part of the program will be a discussion of how members dealt with the depression years. She is concerned about the craft values surviving the challenges of the Second World War and the loss of craftsmen, such as Guild officer, Ed Davis. She ends with comments about the Parksley linen thread.
