Some of the women who contributed to the collection were: Ettamae Harwood Deweese, Flonnie Harwood, Myrtle Jump, Bessie Willis, Pearl Hamlin, Mary Rathburn, Ollie Peek, Ruth Ledford, and Ethel S. Carter. The songs included here are: Careless Love, The Salem Courtship, Barbare Allen, Birmingham Jail, Drunkards Dream, Standing in the Moonlight, Little Birdie, Little Willie, Midnight on the Stormy Deep, New River Train, Love Henry, On Top of Old Smokey, Knoxville Gal, Little Rose Wood Casket, and Weaving Song. A photograph of some of the women can be viewed in the image titled ["The Spinning Wheel" Girls].
