Description

This undated white oak wall basket was made by Cherokee basket weaver, Pauline Taylor Junaluska. The white oak was dyed with yellowroot and walnut to achieve its contrasting colors. The basket is of ribbed construstion and is held on the wall by a circular handle. Pauline Taylor Junaluska (b. 1928) was the daughter of Julia Taylor.
