Description
A note from Frances Goodrich reads "Piece of old coverlet. Woven by Robert Dickson in [North] of Ireland. Gift of Mrs. R. D. Bedinger, his granddaughter." The heirloom traveled from one country to another, where it was treasured for its age and workmanship. It is a linen warp with a navy blue wool weft. This coverlet was likely woven in the early 1800s.
