Description

According to a note from Frances Goodrich this "Fragment of coverlet [was] from Buncomb Co, North Carolina - Pattern 'Seven Stars'" She added the note "Very old." It is made with a cotton warp and an indigo dyed woolen weft. It is probably the surviving piece of a family's heirloom and was likely woven sometime in the 1800s. The name of the creator is unknown.
