Description

This simple black vase was made by Oscar Louis Bachelder (1852-1935) in his Omar Khayyam Pottery in Candler, North Carolina. It was likely made between 1890 and 1930 and is stoneware with a high gloss black glaze. The bottom is marked with Bachelder's OLB initial. This piece came to the Southern Highland Craft Guild as part of Frances Goodrich's original collection.
