Description

It is not known who made this undated blowgun and dart set, but these are typical of Eastern Band Cherokee. The blowgun is made from rivercane; the darts are made from thistle. Traditionally, blowguns and darts were used to hunt small game. Today, they are used for contest, to demonstrate one’s skill and accuracy.
