Description

The tomahawk is a small axe or hatchet that can be used for cutting wood or used as a weapon. As a weapon, a tomahawk is typically thrown. Originally made with a stone head that was inset into a wood handle, many of today’s tomahawk heads are metal. Diverse Native American tribes used the tomahawk for different purposes throughout history.
