“Knoxville Invites You!” is a 5-page brochure developed by the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce. While the brochure promotes the city, it also suggests its location as a jumping off point for visiting the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Pages 2 and 3 of the brochure include a list of “short trips” and vacation sites, all of which are in the Smokies. Page 5 features photographs of sites within Knoxville as well as those in the Smokies. Several of the photographs are by Thompson Brothers, a photography firm located in Knoxville.
