Gaston to Zebulon Weaver, December 18, 1933 In this letter Gaston urges Weaver, on behalf of the Gastonia Chamber of Commerce, to work with other North Carolina Congressmen to ensure that the highway connecting Shenandoah National Park with the Great Smoky Mountains National Park be built over the crest of the scenic Blue Ridge Mountains. Zebulon Weaver to W. G. Gaston, December 18, 1933 In this letter Weaver assures Gaston that he will do his best to route the Park-to-Park Highway accordingly.
