Description

In this memorandum from G. A. Schulze, Assistant Forester at the Smoky Mountains National Park, Schulze discusses the continued misunderstanding and disagreements between Mr. Eakin, the Park Superintendent, and Mr. Ludgate who headed the Branch of Plans and Designs. According to Schulze, this issue should be resolved by Washington by giving Mr. Eakin more administrative powers as the current situation was resulting in park mismanagement and lowering of morale of employees.
