This correspondence between Arno Cammerer, Director of the National Park Service, G. A. Moskey, Assistant Director of the National Park, and R. W. Martin-a set of three letters-revolves around Martin getting some concessions in the park lands to set up business. R. W. Martin to Arno B. Cammerer, March 8, 1935 In this letter to Cammerer, Martin mentions how he and his brother had sold to their lands to the park and that he now wanted to get some concessions in acquiring land in areas of Newfound Gap for setting up of his business that conformed to national park requirements. R. W. Martin to G. A. Moskey, April 2nd, 1935 In this letter to Moskey, Martin requests concessions to set up a place in Newfound Gap selling light drinks and refreshments for tourists or a tourist lodge in Mangua Creek-a place currently occupied by the C.C.C. G. A. Moskey to R. W. Martin, April 23rd, 1935 In this letter Moskey states he cannot at the moment provide any advice regarding providing concessions at the Park.
