In this letter from Ickes, Secretary of the Interior, to Rouen, Chairman of the Committee on the Public Lands in the House of Representatives, Ickes mentions that he has no objection to the enactment of bill H. H. 7425 provided some amendments are made to it. The bill's purpose was to enable Idaho to acquire forest holodings for forestry and educational purposes.
