Description
This photograph is of Mt. Cammerer, named for Arno B. Cammerer, Director of the National Park Service in the 1930s. The mountain is also called White Rock. The picture was taken by Albert Gordon "Dutch" Roth (1890-1974), an avid photographer and one of the founders of the hiking club. The back of the photograph is stamped “Jim Thompson Co. Knoxville Master Photo Finishers,” indicating it was probably printed by hiking club member James E. (Jim) Thompson (1880-1976).
