The ice-fringed top of Alum Cave Bluffs is seen from the Duck Hawk or Hole-in-the-Mountain ridge. The 1932 picture was made by Harvey Benjamin Broome (1902-1968), Knoxville attorney, an avid conservationist, and advocate for the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
