On the reverse of this image is written, "Looking westward along state line from Eagle Rocks we see 'Peck's Corner' at head of Hughes Ridge (left foreground), Laurel Top (at extreme right) Mt. Le Conte (not on state line- just left of Laurel Top), Sawtooth Range (just peeping above clouds), The Boulevard (just above Sawtooth), the Jump-off and Mt. Kephart (above and slightly to right of Pecks Corner), Mt. Collins, (behind dead limb), Clingman's Dome (left back ground) -- Walter Berry -- Aug 10-11, 1932." In 2024 Clingmans Dome was restored to its original name of Kuwohi. The photograph is included in the records of the Smoky Mountains Hiking Club which was formed after a group of outdoor enthusiasts hiked up to Mount LeConte in October 1924. The back of the picture is stamped “Jim Thompson Co."
