On the reverse of this image is written, "Looking westward along Tenn.-N.C state line from Eagle Rocks we see Pecks Corner, at the head of Hughes Ridge (left foreground), Laurel Top (at extreme right), Mt. Le Conte (all in Tenn. side of park, just left of Laurel Top), Sawtooth Range (running up and to left from Laurel Top), the Boulevard (just above the Sawtooth) The Jump off and Mt. Kephart (above and slightly to right of Peck's Corner), Mt. Collins (behind dead limb),Clingman's Dome (highest point at left) and Andrews Bald (left of Clingmans) Berry Photo 8-10-32." In 2024 Clingmans Dome was restored to its original name of Kuwohi. The photograph is included in the records of the Smoky Mountains Hiking Club which was formed after a group of outdoor enthusiasts hiked up to Mount LeConte in October 1924. The back of the picture is stamped “Jim Thompson Co."
