Description

This undated photograph taken from Indian Gap is included in the records of the Smoky Mountains Hiking Club. Indian Gap was the original pass through the Great Smoky Mountains. In the mid-1930s it was replaced by Newfound Gap Road two miles to the east. Newfound Gap Road is also highway 441.
