The memorial that was presented to Congress by the Appalachian National Park Association in January 1900 was referred to the Committee on Agriculture. On April 17, 1900, the officers of the Park Association appeared before the Agriculture Committee to present their case. These 26 pages of correspondence refers to that meeting.
