Description
This small fabric banner announces a convention promoting an Appalachian Forest Reserve. Such a convention was held on October 25, 1902. By that time, the Appalachian National Park Association was using “national park” and “forest reserve” interchangeably and, in 1903, the association changed its name to the Appalachian National Forest Reserve Association.
