Description

This 26-page series of correspondence between F. A. Hull and C. P. Ambler discusses Hull’s interest in Appalachian National Park movement. Although Hull lives in Ohio, he owns 40,000 acres near Highlands so he has a vested interest in what happens in the region. The Appalachian National Park Association drafted a number of petitions and resolutions favoring the establishment of a national forest reserve and/or a national park in the southern Appalachians and circulated these among citizen groups.
