Description

In this letter of June 15, 1936, George Washington Carver writes to Mrs. Henry (Margaret Gillespie) Slagle to express his joy at having been able to meet her after having only known her through her son, Thomas (Dick), and through correspondence. He also writes of his happiness at having been able to see Dick and his wife and know that he was well. Carver also gives Mrs. Slagle some advice about dyes and recommends she see a druggist for more detailed information.
