In a letter to her family, on June 20, 1935, Josephina Niggli writes about her audition for a role in a theater production at Chapel Hill. She expresses her excitement for getting through the first round of try-outs for the role of Iphigenia. Later Niggli writes that she found the time to see the film "The Scarlet Pimpernel."
