This 132 page Cullowhee Baptist Church Book spans from November 17, 1821 to December 14, 1884 and is written in the style of a diary. The congregation, organized near Webster in 1830, was an original member of the Tuckaseigee Baptist Association. The church began holding services in a log building in Cullowhee in 1839. Subsequent buildings for the church were constructed near the original building in 1856, 1918, and 1929.
