Description
Exterior view of the main door entrance to Asheville High School. The entrance is approached by a stepped walkway that leads to the central rotunda. The school building encompanses the blending of Art Deco and Italian Renaissance elements. With three long wings the school was intended to be a model facility in its design and its liberal curriculum.
