In a letter to Horace Kephart on July 17, 1913, David T. Abercrombie compares the Forester and “Snow” tents. Mr. Abercrombie explains the Forester tent lacks space and height and weighs more than the Snow tent. Then he describes the Snow tent and its durability. He hopes Kephart will enjoy the Camp Fire tent. David T. Abercrombie co-founded Abercrombie and Fitch in 1892.
