In his letter to Horace Kephart, editor George MacReynolds of the Doylestown based newspaper "The Democrat" requests permission to republish a pamphlet by Kephart on "Pennsylvania's Part in Winning the West," which Kephart delivered to the Pennsylvania Society in St. Louis on December 12, 1901. MacReynolds also mentions Kephart's own familial ties to Doylestown.
