Description
In a letter to Horace Kephart, written on October 7th, 1916, Frank L. Miller discusses his trip to the Adirondack Mountains, and gives Kephart a list of food supplies he brought with him. Miller mentions that his initial plans for the trip went awry, when a mutual friend missed his connection in Buffalo and when he finally arrived he cut his hand with his axe. He also describes the weather, living conditions, and his animosity for small tents.
