In a letter to Horace Kephart on March 31, 1922, detective Elmo W. Brim regrets to inform Kephart that Judge Ellis Gardner, their lawyer for the B. L. Harsell case, is sick and may have to go to the hospital, therefore the court date has been delayed. He hopes that the Revenue raids will expose wrongdoing.
