Description

In a letter to Horace Kephart on March 25, 1922, detective Elmo W. Brim thanks Kephart for his letter and expresses his gratitude that he will be at the Mitchell Court in April for the B. L. Harsell case. He describes Mitchell County as the “wettest” county in North Carolina and that most of the Pigeon Roost gang is back operating their distillery.
