In a letter to Horace Kephart on September 23, 1923, Katherine DuBru Nuttall compliments Kephart on his book “Our Southern Highlanders” and mentions she lived on New River in West Virginia. Mrs. Nuttall also states the Moshannon chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will mark Nicholas and Adam Kephart’s graves soon and requests Kephart give a speech for his possible ancestors.
