Description
In a letter to Horace Kephart, William C. Gregg critiques Kephart’s “Asheville Times” article and recommends its circulation throughout the entire state of North Carolina. Mr. Gregg states he will make a personal contribution of $500 to cover the expenses. Regarding the article, he suggests changes to Kephart’s comments on “no hotels”, roads, and timber companies in the park. Gregg speculates that Tennessee or the U.S. government may section off the area for the national park or include the lumber industries in the property.
