In a letter to Horace Kephart on June 3, 1924, Dillin writes to Kephart detailing his discovery of a letter stating no rifles were used at Bunker Hill and Lexington during the American Revolution. Dillin disbelieves this account. He also describes notes about Daniel Boone and his travels kept in a bible and diary.
