In this letter of December 10, 1936, Laura Kephart writes her daughter-in-law Frances (1887-1971), sending the grandchildren money for Christmas. She describes a marshmallow candy that she has invented, and tells her that she is home keeping the fires burning while Barbara is out for the day. She asks Frances if she would like some copies of the Cherokee article to give to friends. She explains that I. K. Stearns’ firm has bought extra to send as Christmas cards.
