Description
Dave Rogers was born in 1830 and was a farmer in Cullowhee valley. He was a strong supporter of the Cullowhee school and sold and loaned portions of his farm to the school. In 1924 he sold his "Town House" farm, the site of an early Cherokee settlement and burial mound, which allowed for the expansion of campus. Forsyth, Killian, and other buildings now stand on the site.
