Description

This undated group photograph taken by W. Newton Turner (1910-1995) in front of Hoey (now University) Auditorium, shows Lab School students with William Clyde Pressley pointed out. Turner began teaching as an assistant professor of geology and geography in 1937 and filled a variety of roles before retiring on December 29, 1971 as Vice President of Western Carolina University.
