Cetera DeGraffenreid is interviewed by a Smoky Mountain High School student as a part of Mountain People, Mountain Lives: A Student Led Oral History Project. DeGraffenreid shares her experience playing sports in elementary and high school beginning with basketball when she was eight on the Lady Royals travel team. She talks about playing for Chapel Hill and how her team made history winning the ACC championship with a 17-0 record. She talks about playing professional basketball in Israel for two years and discusses why she decided to quit playing basketball and about her experience coaching and refereeing.
