Henry Kornegay is interviewed by a Smoky Mountain High School student as a part of Mountain People, Mountain Lives: A Student Led Oral History Project. Kornegay talks about joining the Marine Corps and shares some of his experiences in Afghanistan. He talks about coming home from the Marine Corps and working for the National Park Service, as well as growing up in the Appalachian Mountains.
