Jack Mincey is interviewed by Juan Moore on May 31, 2016, as part of Mountain People, Mountain Lives: A Student Led Oral History Project. Mincey discusses growing up around Cullowhee and the changes over the years. He talks about teaching at Waynesville Junior and Blue Ridge High School. Fly-fishing and guiding are considered with regards to Mincey’s occupation as a fly-fishing teacher. Fishing, hunting, and camping are discussed as well as Mincey’s many travels.
