Wallace Bembry is interviewed by a Smoky Mountain High School student as a part of Mountain People, Mountain Lives: A Student Led Oral History Project. Bembry moved to Sylva from Florida in 1974 to become the assistant principal at Sylva Webster High School and then worked as principal for Qualla School, now Smokey Mountain Elementary. Bembry talks about his thirty-five years in the school system as principal and as teacher.
