Description

Lindsey Reinhardt, a full-time college student, discusses her work experiences and how they compare to her mother and grandmother. She talks about the misogyny she experienced firsthand in her customer service jobs, especially as a cashier, and how this culture of mistreating women in the workplace may be changing. This interview was conducted to supplement the traveling Smithsonian Institution exhibit “The Way We Worked,” which was hosted by WCU’s Mountain Heritage Center during the fall 2018 semester.
