Description

Sanji discusses how hard she constantly worked growing up as the eldest child filling in for her father. She talks about her work ethic, her family, and how she was raised to do both men's and women's work. This interview was conducted to supplement the traveling Smithsonian Institution exhibit “The Way We Worked,” which was hosted by WCU’s Mountain Heritage Center during the fall 2018 semester.
