Nikki Britain, a teacher with experience in both public and private schools, talks about her passions and frustrations with teaching. She compares her different experiences and talks extensively about the problems involved with public schools’ focus on testing students. This interview was conducted to supplement the traveling Smithsonian Institution exhibit “The Way We Worked,” which was hosted by WCU’s Mountain Heritage Center during the fall 2018 semester.
